Bill founded Miami Valley Recovery in 2017 with a clear conviction: that lasting recovery is built on structure, accountability, and evidence-based therapy — with medication used as one important tool in a larger plan. He has led the organization to CARF accreditation and Ohio DBH / OhioMHAS certification, building a program grounded in individualized care and long-term outcomes.
Jeff oversees day-to-day clinical operations and program quality. His path reflects the growth MVR believes in: he joined in 2020, earned his CDCA and then his LCDC II, and was promoted to Program Director. A proud military veteran, Jeff leads a team grounded in discipline, accountability, and genuine care.
Karen holds dual licensure as both a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision (LPCC-S) and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with Supervision (LICDC-S) — a rare combination that lets her treat substance use and mental health together. She oversees the clinical team and guides treatment planning with expertise and deep empathy.
With Miami Valley Recovery since 2019, Monica is our Nurse Practitioner — and quite possibly the biggest heart in the building. She treats both substance use and mental health, meeting every client with real empathy and clinical know-how. A proud Clemson graduate and Duke alum, Monica brings dedication and compassion to everyone in her care.
Amanda joined in 2023 and brings a genuine gift for this work. As a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant, she specializes in supporting expecting mothers, including participants in MVR’s M.O.B. (Mothers on Buprenorphine) program. Dedicated and steady, she keeps each client’s goals at the center of care.
Tony is a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant who joined in 2025. He shows up for clients every day, walking beside them through the most challenging parts of recovery with patience and consistency. His steady, dependable presence helps clients feel supported at every step.
Marissa is, for most clients, the first friendly voice on the phone and welcoming face at the door. She sets the tone for a warm, professional office and helps new clients feel at ease from their very first contact. She is currently pursuing her CDCA as she grows in the field.
